I used a product called MarineTex on an old wooden boat I had with great results. Wood was severely rotted and this stuff soaked in nicely and set up hard. Kind of like Bondo on steroids.

My "new" ear!y 9N Ford Ferguson from the Henry/Harry handshake fame.
Not a Model A but I think it pairs well with my 130A.
70 plus's years old and still a workhorse.

I get parts from Steiner for my Ford 9n. Nice old tractor parts vendor. I also get a kick out of "Wrenching With Rachael" on YouTube.

I am very pleased with the fit, performance,and quality of my Berg radiator. I run a T-Stat and temps stay in the green all the time. I can not speak to authenticity. I do like the looks and enjoyed...

I too have a knock at startup. It happens after week or two of sitting. I have found that if I crank the engine over a few times with the ignition off (pre-lube) I don't hear the knock when I start....

I like to drive my Model A on nice days in New England that can be anywhere from 40* to 90*. My 160* T-stat and Berg HD radiator keeps the engine well within the "operating range" in all conditions...
