I was told by a circle track guy from the 40s they flipped heads on the early 21 bolts using a 37 front water pump block and early heads. Flow was better. Had to cut the firewall.

Certainly he was referring to the fact you sectioned the car 4"s (which is amazing) and pancaked the hood.

Alan I could be also. Not sure there was any clamps or other. Just some short rubber covers on the ends of the caps, 2 total. It's a tight fit. less is more.

Electronic ignition use spirals. Points use copper "solid wires?. Just my opinion.

I've had pretty good dealings with these guys in the past. Been a few yrs but great place for bulk plug wires and ends. Easy to make up your own.

I'm trying to wrap my brain around relays. If full voltage to the relay is there. They should operate correctly.


Relays are a switch so they shouldn't have ohms till needed

Plugs can be cleaned. It usually takes some time and may need to be repeated a few times. I don't put any in the oil, sometimes in the gas tank.

Heave or other. If your issue is scratching paint and you are installing stuff. Tape it off. 3m or other. There is quite a bit of movement once you get pasted the regulator set. :confused:
