Help Getting It Running

I have a 1923 coupe. It has not run in 30 years. Anyone know someone in Pittsburgh area who can get it running? Do not want it restored. Want to get it running as is. Thanks in advance.

It is the rear wheel. The brakes were just rebuilt, so unless the wedge is short, wear should not be an issue.

Brake Adjusting Wedge

On one wheel, the brake adjusting wedge has to be all the way down before I can get a drag. Do not think it should be that way. Where to look? Suggestions?

MMO: How much is a little?

Model A has been sitting for 9 months. Want to put a little MMO in cylinders when I have plugs out for clean & checking the gap.

Anyone know why Henry came up with the horn rod design? Would it not have been easier to put a rotary contact switch and a horn contact switch at the top of the column?

Battery/Starter Advice Needed

I have been focusing my headlights. So the battery was drawn down. Battery is two years old. When starting the A, the starter whirls, but does not engage.

Recharged the battery. Read 6.2 volts....

Fact or fiction: the neoprene gasket for the headlight lens has an adverse effect on the bucket finish? It tarnishes the aluminum surface?
