Keaton did though. All but one in his career in the teens and 20's. He couldn't master how to do the pole vault, had to hire a real pole vaulter for the shot. He also did...

Back in the late 90's Allan Wylie dyno'd 6 heads (on a Sun chassis dyno), the new Aluminum Winfield, Anderson, Weiand, Price, Brumfield and the a Model B head. Winfield out performed all of them...

1923 engine & trans

Engine/trans came out of running car 10 years ago. 4 dipper pan. No starter, ignition or carb. Has generator, intake and exhaust manifolds.
Even comes on handy dolly.

No chipped gears and everything rotates nicely. I've never run the unit, it's been under my work bench for 15 years.
One broken ear on the shifter plate as seen in picture.
