Re: 12 volt headlight options

Despite all the negativity toward LED headlights, quite a few guys in our club have used various types of LED lights (including me). In every instance, they are very pleased with the results.

Re: Electronic Flasher

First off - I'm running 12 volts with an alternator.

Having said that, I've gone thru several ways to confront the issue at hand.

1) When I first bought my pickup, I installed a Signal Stat...

Re: What do I need to do to get a reliable engine?

Ron Kelley is in Royce City. I have one of his engines in my pickup. I have no qualms about taking off on a trip of a thousand miles or more.

Re: Front Tool Box

Jim,
If you ever decide to make more of the 30-31 tool boxes, I want one! I tried to find one several years ago only to find out that they had been discontinued.

Just reading this thread, it...

Re: Fuel shut off

Not your "original" set-up, but I bought the ball valve from Amazon. (It also has an electric shut-off just downhill from the filter.)

Re: Frame serial number to obtain a title?

I bought an antique Mullins trailer from a gentleman in Texas. Texas does not require titles for small utility trailers, only registration.

Alaska did not want to recognize the Texas registration...

Re: Rewiring . . . What would you do different?

I start off by using a wiring harness built to factory specs by Sacramento Vintage Ford. I also alter this by wiring straight thru the headlight sockets so that they are terminated in the radiator...

Re: Model B crank in Model A

To use a B crank in a Model A engine, the journals have to be ground down to Model A specs. That is actually a good way to use a B crank that is worn beyond specs. At least one engine in our club has...

Re: Radial Tires

Off topic, but here goes
Headliner is not original in a pickup. Mine had headliner in it when I bought it, but it was pretty much rotten, so I took it out. My pickup is the late '31 with the steel...

Re: ROTELLA 15W 40 Oil
