The "B" pillar has a wood tack strip. I;m mounting mine on the tack strip just behind the rear quarter window

I took mine to a muffler shop and had the flange bent to a true 45 degress and bend from the flange to the muffler bent to a true 90 degress. Works great with no gasket.

I use a fumaze, with a preformed 1" 45 degree pvc elbow This puts the fumes out just below the wish bone. Painted black it blends in nicely.

How long did the battery sit dead? I think any thing over several weeks the battery is going to loose it's ability to take a full charge. Just my $ .02 worth

I've used the attach gasket, pricey, yes but worth it. never had to replace it never had a leak

I use spiral wound core, ignition wire available from hot rod stores.
Seems to help the noise problem.

Two arm regulators are kind of hard to find. If you find one, buy it.
Just remember the right and left sides are different.

Could it be that you idling is slow that oil is not being thrown up into the cylinders? clue you speed up the idle and it goes away

Bought a new coil at NAPA. checked for spark, nice blue spark. Pluged i the coil wire it would not start, no spark. The long and short of it is, the coil would not throw a spark when firing under...

Wanted usable model a engine

I need a usable Model A engine, short block OK,need something to run until can run until I can get mine rebuilt.


Please no further than about a two hour drive from Redding CA.
