If someone has the latest Restoration guidelines there are about 4 different landau irons . They show all the numbers on the back side . I don't have my copy handy or I would verify if yours are...

A&L have the really nice stainless steel hub caps . They can sometimes pass fine point . Price might be a little higher but the quality is top shelf . Norm

If you have a Snyders catalogue look on page 193 , they list a dress plate seal for 68 A and 68 B for $7.50 each . Not sure but they might be different for the 68C

Stewart warner horns did not have a nameplate . That is why some use the Stewart Warner in fine point because you don't lose points for a reproduction nameplate .

Double check all the screws that hold the windshield to the wooden header . Sometimes the wood header is rotted and the screws will let the windshield frame set to low . Norm

Make sure the gasket between the flywheel housing and the engine block is installed correctly . If it is installed backwards it will leak oil out the camshaft and it will run down the rear main area...

Remember Keith , if your buyer listed the car on Ebay there was at least 2 interested bidders so once listed he doesn't have much control on the final price . The other way he might have listed...

I have seen clock oil that was clear . I was also told that musical instruments use a clear oil . Maybe you are looking for oil for the crankcase? Norm

There is a Model A good guy that is selling rebuilt and tested zenith carbs for about $169 to $189 . . The best price that I have seen .

I have an original knob that is 8 sided and is 9/16 wrench size . The top has the look like the one on the right with the double bump .

If you are using a reproduction gas cap it might sit to tall . I used a original and the windshield opened and closed as it should .
