Also if plug works in another cylinder, would indicate a problem with distributor ,like a bad cap .If you can borrow a known good distributor, that would rule out electrical issue.

Hello, does plug number one fire in another cylinder? That would check if plug is either good or bad . If compression is low on one may be valve hang up if rebuilt rings should be good. Let us know...

Hello again, yes have to pay Pennsylvania tax at 6percent excuse for road trip and go to the Dutch House restaurant, that is the important part, keeps wife happy.

Good luck on your purchase, I always take lots of pictures and look at a car the second time if possible. Usually 1 st time they look good but sometimes looking at it again I find things not noticed...

Hello again, I should have said thicknesses of gaskets, you may need micrometers to measure they come in various thickness to set the backlash in the gears in gasket pack.

Hello,also keep track of the size of gaskets on axle housing to center, they are used to set the backlash in ring and pinion gears.

Yes information from 1989 would be somewhat dated, best idea would be to use current judging standards , my car is painted and incorrect Kewanee green from years ago.

I am lucky that I only live a couple of hours away from Snyders, make a road trip at the cost of shipping anymore about pays for gas ⛽️ which is cheaper in Ohio .
