Two things to mention. Auburn tires are tubeless,Coker is designed for tubes. If you purchase either tire From. Summit Racing you will get free shipping or
only a $10 oversize fee.

Diamond Back Auburn Deluxe tires have 16" radials with traditional bias ply looks.If you want stock size tires the have 6.00 x16. They seem expensive but Coker is a lot more expensive now and has...

Yes I forgot he uses a new aluminum case with the ford back and front and Ford bearings fitted.

I have a Whitney 12 v alternator on my roadster. He uses an original case and bearings so it can safely support a fan. Makes 6 V too.

I often apply heat to the hub. tighten puller and hub will pop off when warm.

If not in a climate controlled building condensation in engine can occur. This is one reason to change annually in the spring.

I had 10 ply truck tires on rear of my roadster. It was almost undriveable the bumps were so intense.
They did have the look though.

I remove the rear hub and repack the bearing when I service front wheel bearings.
I think that is what Ford had in mind when they deleted grease fittings.

I check at the pinion spline. try for .005. I use chevy gear pattern paste. It is thick yellow.

I would suggest the new large print edition of the service manual. It has much clearer pictures. When an arrow points to a bolt you can actually see which bolt they mean. I first bought the small one...

Yes it should work. I put the batttery wire direct to the starter and used a push button to starter solenoid.

I had to shim the pinion in to get a good pattern on the v8.
Not needed on Model A. They are very nice gears.

Last I heard Fort Wayne Clutch quit rebuilding and only sells new. They were always the most reccomended on the V8 forum.
