Right ! The rear main sticks out into the flywheel housing. We are having trouble enough to keep the oil out of there !

Sorry, I don’t get the picture … taking the light switch off doesn’t cause the oil to drop out is it ? There should be an oil seal in the bottom of the steering box.

Yes ! Certainly ! A’s shouldn’t leak while running, only when you stop the engine. A dollar size is the right size !
Of course there shouldn’t be an X carved into the lower bearing shell at all !

Crappy they are ! Bought mine from sacramentoford. Had to move the radiator forward, cut the neck, cut the lower sides, make slots instead of screw holes etc. JUNK !

Now that I have an original instrument panel AND an original elektrolock, they still wonít fit. I am referring to the 28/29 Model A stuff.
The cup just isnít deep enough to be able to fit the little...
