The original 35/36 Ford battery was rated 90 Amp/Hours @ 20 hr. rate. This converts to approx 650 cold cranking amps.

Dave, Another interesting item......There is no mention of venting on the diagram dated 3/5/36 and 4/8/36. Also note that on Stants locking cap drawings venting is not mentioned till 1939.

Tony, There should be some dimples on your firewall where the mounting hole should be drilled. I am including pictures of where these dimples are located as well as an image from the radio...

I believe that most if not all gas tank filler necks from 1936 thru early 1939 were vented allowing the use of a non-vented gas cap. During the 1939 model year the filler neck venting was removed...

The 1928 thru 36 Chassis Parts Book shows only one style of cap for both the dome top and flat top distributor. 18-12105-B fits both style distributors.

Passenger car glove box liners in 35/36 had brown cotton headliner material glued to the inside surface of the cardboard on the liner and the door insert.
