Re: Paint removal

Re: Could Use Some Help With License Plate Restoration

Post your general location, there may be someone close. When you decide on someone look them up in the archives to find out what people think of them.

Re: Wheels

By US standards you have the wrong wheels but you should add your general location and where the car was assembled because foreign countries may be different (just guessing). You might ask the...

Re: location of rubber window rests on Deluxe Roadster top

Check underneath and see if someone filled the holes. I thought all of the cars had them. Any chance yours is a reproduction body?

Re: Engine

"xint" means it is time to get new glasses. The word used was "xlnt" which I assume means excellent.

Re: What model A would this be

I have seen the "X" before and always thought they were trying to track something or maybe the was an accidental duplication of the number on the engines and the "X" was added to make the number...

Re: Is this a standard 21" Model A wheel?

It could just be the photo but those lug nut holes sure look oversize. If they are it would be easier to start with a better wheel. I sure miss the Reno Swap Meet that Bill Harrah used to host.

Re: Hood prop '37

Try Bob Drake for the parts you need. If they are not in the catalog call them. They had them the last I checked (about 25 years ago)....

Re: difference between 1936 and 1939 frames

Re: Engine Number Help

Could also be a big deal if stopped by the police. Could also be a big deal in case of an accident if the insurance adjuster didn't think the wrecked car was the one they insured.
