Re: Y block pickup tube seal

My tube looks exactly like that one. Looking inside the oil pump, I really can't see how tightening the nut would cause that indentation. As far as I can tell the tube doesn't butt up against...

Door opening

Been looking at some T's, and noticed that some of them have the suicide doors..or doors that open from the front instead of rear. Is this just one of many body styles, or is it a year change? I...

Re: 53 Flathead Oil line

Yes, that is the one. Probably not really needed for my purpose. I think I will try and weld mine back together, and see what happens. Thanks to all.

53 Ranchwagon Ignition Switch

Is the 53 truck different than the car as ignition switch is concerned? It appears that the 53 truck has a push button to start it. I don't have a push button in my ranchwagon. Is it missing, or...

Re: 55 F100 Front brake lines

Not in the rails, but in the crossmember. There is a hole on each end of the crossmember that would line up just right for the brake lines. But, as stated earlier, probably not the way to go. ...

Re: 53 Ranchwagon driveshaft

Thanks..There is a flange at the differential. So, I guess the winged/flanged u-joint is the one I need. Maybe the flanged part was just missing/broken off my old u-joint. The driveshaft wasn't...

Re: 53 Ranchwagon driveshaft

Now that the front yoke is taken care of I have a question about the rear universal joint. I don't have the hardware that clamps the ujoint to the rear yoke. I don't see threads in the holes of the...

Re: 53 Ranchwagon driveshaft

Thanks..That is kinda what I thought. I did clean it out, but maybe I will take a file and run it down the splines. It had been sitting for quite awhile. There seems to be two seal wear marks for...
