watching the spark timing on a distributor machine without the piston the spark lines kinda jump from side to side at idle. These units dont ever show wear and even a new one shows the same...

Mike , I bought 12 sets of CS47 from my napa warehouse friday after noon and they were all the good ones .
A lot of parts folks do the re-box thing by the hundreds ...never know where they are...

A local friend here in Indy builds some of the faster and best sprint cars engines in the country . studiess ever little detail and has a dyno for engines , all recieve a test run...

Yes got both units tested on the machine. The crab (stock) was perfect with 22 degrees engine at 2500 rpm. Thats a good stock 11A unit.

The mallory ran well but only had 16 degrees at 2500 rpm....

This is one of my old cars i sold ( wish i hadnt) might be easier to buy it back it i knew where it was etc ??? It would run 55-65 mph all day long and rode great etc.....
