Unless the threads have been "screwed" up by the new bolts/ Try some sealer on the bolts or wrap dental floss on the bolts and re-install. FWIW

Y/day went to a show about 45 mi away, avg speed 55, 40 coupe, 59ab, hi-comp heads, 2 97's, duals, no stats. Stock temp gauge, stayed in the middle whole trip, coming back on got on divided h/way and...

Instead of pulling the stud, get the nut off FIRST and inspect the threads ! ! If you get lucky you might just need a nut. JMO

It sounds like you don't have a "closed" system?? My A used to puke water until I added a "sealed" puke tank.

It needs to be "excited" in order to charge. That's normal.

Mask the area well (cardboard and tape). You might get lucky. Try to get some 50/50 mix of ATF and acetone into the/around the pin and try to drive it up. The vendors sell a pin press (some have luck...
