Re: Model A Light Switch

My concern is that the “old” 4 contact plate is different from the 9 contact plate and without a pin out diagram, I cannot solder the new harness to the old contact plate.

Re: Model A Light Switch

Re: 1928 Canadian Tudor

Thanks for all the comments. Yeah it would appear it’s definitely a re-stamp and all the factory ones I’ve seen are straight as well. Thanks for the heads up on the screw too.

Re: 1928 Canadian Tudor

Yeah that’s what I was thinking too. I am wondering if since many Canadian A’s do not have a chassis stamp, depending on the equivalent to DMV office in the US, if Canada assigns a “VIN” of their own...

1928 Canadian Tudor

Hello all. I recently bought what seems to be a mostly original 1928 Canadian Tudor. It has a black Ford radiator shell emblem, square screw heads, and Ford script bumper clamp bolts only on the...

1930 Frame with visible numbers

I have a nice 1930 frame with an extra, nice, uncracked front engine cross member and all 4 nice running board brackets. The number is very visible and does not come with a title. Local pick up only....

Re: Removing body vs. not removing the body...

Re: Lesson learned- Buy local! No more Bratton's

I hate to say this, but the back and forth offensiveness/defensiveness is prolly not helping the matter any.

Because humans are involved, and with that human error(s), every company has had a...

Re: Model A Ignition Waveform

Yes it would. Many come with a "flight recorder" option that makes a movie of your data to be played back. You would have to experiment with time and threshhold minimums and maximums to get the full...

At the high school, where I teach automotive students, I have a Snap-On Modis. The Modis is one of many digital scan tools that also has an...

Re: World end yet?

I think its cool that there are a bunch of plane nuts here too. Model A's and airplanes go together like ice cream and chocolate syrup.
My son is working on his private pilot's license and...

Re: valve guides leaking?

Keep in mind 212F is good for straight water's boiling point, but when mixed with ethylene glycol (antifreeze/coolant, green stuff that kills Fido and FiFi) or propylene glycol (not toxic) it raises...
