Throttle control assembly

Has any one tried to replace or repair the rivet and the steel stamping where the rivet goes in the Sept. 1930-end of production throttle control assembly.If you have how. Thanks John

what are the correct outside measurements on the 3 control rods installed on the car .Mine are 6 3/8 ,17 7/16, 10 31/32. Thanks John

Radiator hose

What is a quick fix for a drip where the hose meets the pipe . The clamps are tightened all the way down. Thanks John

I loosened the rear mounts moved engine over where it belongs, retightened mounts gained 1/16 inch. Thanks John

Installing new engine in car .The front of engine is off center 3/16 of a inch. What is best way to correct this problem Thanks John

If you live on the west coast do not buy on the east coast or visa versa. I am telling you this from experience. It can cause a lot of problems. John

sorry not making my self clear. the 3 o'clock reading is .009 off and the 9 o'clock reading is .003 off hope this makes sense. John

My readings on FW to FW housing are 12 o'clock- 0, 3 o"clock 91 thousand, 6 o"clock 0, 9 O"clock 97 thouother than sand. Is this variation ok or what can I do other than replace housing. Thanks John

Safety Wire Fly Wheel Housing

What is the proper route or direction of the wire to go around the four bolts . The holes in the bolts are not always in the right place. I have the safety wire pliers. Thanks John

A lot of guys balance the flywheel first and then balance the flywheel and pressure plate together. What good does it do to balance flywheel alone when you have to rebalance it when you attach...

Which way is best to install engine? With accelerator assembly on block or without. Installing with it on could scratch firewall , with it off could loose shims when bolts are removed. Thanks John

I am trying to adjust my v8 pressure plate fingers the problem is I get a different reading on the same finger when I change the location of the flat piece of metal across the surface of the back...
