I bought a bunch of these in a Texas dollar store about 10 years ago, gave them away to friends, I keep one in the trunk of my '41, on eBay for $2. now.

Check with Charlie my on this forum, he rebuilt my carb, replaced worn throttle shaft. He may have fuel pump parts.

Shutoff switch under dash, not necessarily for anti-theft but for peace of mind when parked in garage.

Best way to lower the front '41 coupe?

I'd like to lower the front of my car 1in., I just put "15 radials on three years ago, so the whole car is down a couple of inches but I like to go 1 more inch in front. Ideas?

I don't have that particular one, but I have used the electronic version, it's just the original manual scanned. I think all the pages are PDF format so it can be printed page by page if needed....

Does the number on the plate match the frame?. Someone in time past put a plate on the firewall of my '41, it's a simple plate with the frame number engraved on it.

I looked for about 3 years for decent '36 coupe that I could afford, could only find rusted hunks of junk, gave up and looked at 37-40 coupes still nothing I could afford, ended up with my '41 coupe....

Stay away from the new repro's lots of issues with them, see if you can find a good used original. You also might try sending a pm CharlyNy on this forum see what he says.

If your having starting or dim lights issues, clean and add additional ground wires. My 78 yo car runs fine on 6 volts. Keep all your connections tight and bright.

Argentine aftermarket, pulled one from my '41 could not get it to read correctly, found another repro on eBay, it reads a little better, but still not 100%, from a half tank on down it is pretty...
