The piece on the wind deflected just above the radiator, where the latch attaches when close is adjustable. Loosen the 2 bolts and slide the bracket with the roller roller up or down.

Still having problem with the hood bracket with the spring installation. If I mount the spring as in the 41 trucks, there is a bend in the bracket that hits the firewall and will not let that work. ...

The key is froze in the switch and will not rotate to start position, and the steering lock switch is frozen in the off...
