Also, don't forget to "clock" the steering wheel when you install it so that you can see the gauges easily.

Are you sure its the [late and not the clamps loosening up.

You could also put the plate in a plate frame. They sell them at all the car stores.

I have been using an Atlas 2 post for 6 years with my A. I also store it up on the lift in the winter months and place another car underneath with no issues.

I do have the optional truck adapter...

I have a B carb with bored out intake and no issues with hot weather.

I use a K&N Filter and 4 oz MMO per 10 gal gas.

The wire hooks on the little eyehook (yup thats what its for ) on the bottom of the carb gav lever, then goes past and under the right side of the radiator, and sticks out in front of the radiator...

OK black they are!

That would leave me to believe that the engines were not painted as 1 unit from the factory. The blocks were painted then they must of added the oil pan on.

Sounds like a coil issue. Even if the coil was just installed that does not mean the coil can take the heat.

You can bench test the coil and it tests good but in the car, it can't take it.
