I did have my rear vent windows apart and it does appear as a part to prevent "over opening" the glass. Thank you very much!

Mystery Part
Finishing up on the 1937 Deluxe and found one un-tagged part. The only item that fits the 5/16" square hole is the exterior door handles. Nothing check out there. Any thought?

The front sections are what is missing and the fact that the window moves slightly to the rear before lowering make me think I would be guessing to the shape of the front of the glass .
