If the inner panel is in reasonable good shape and the outer skin is straight, you may want to try and trade lids, even if you add money, with someone who is wanting to convert from rumble to trunk.

I would obtain a Bill Of Sale from the owner also, some states require one to provide information as to the sale price for tax purposes.

If you wish to replace the outside handles and have a keyed lock, Speedway Motors has a set of two, keyed alike handles. For my convenience, I wanted a locking handle on the driver side.

I suggest that you use steel wheel casters on your cart, rubber or hard plastic has a tendency to flat spot after a while with a load on them, making it difficult to move.

Remove the wiper blade and try it. Bench test will not have the resistance the blade against the glass has. Maybe the motor is too weak to move the blade.
