You can feel the difference with .125 off the head. You need to find someone with an
old rotary broach type of machine, the new machines give a much finer surface
but they can't remove a whole lot...

We changed everything over to LED and put solar with a powerwall battery and haven’t
Bought any electricity in 6 mos. We’ll see what the winter time brings.

They probably cut the ring grooves and added spacers to save the pistons.
In any case those pistons have been more than once around the block.

Three schools of thought, 1st dry, 2nd Copper Coat third Silver Paint. With
The Copper Coat and Silver Paint it should still be wet when you put it on.
They all work.
