I think some people run without air filters. I had a air maze filter, Changed filter when needed and never had a problem. I feel that the filter helps keep carb clean.

I can deal with the heat just getting a little older and want to spoil myself.
If I played golf I would want A/c in my golf cart. Which is why I like bowling it has A/c it's close to the bathroom...

The replies echo what I was thinking that there would not be much of a advantage in a open car.I guess I just wanted confirmation, but good point about cabriolet windows, something to think about.

I sold my coupe a while back and thinking about another car, maybe a open car possibly a phaeton. However being a new transplant to Texas I find it is hot and I may need to install a/c and wondering...

I had a full flow on my 3 2 coupe with inset bearings nd it worked well but ran it for about 800 miles w/o a filter no problem. Sold car last year so can't say anymore.

Sold my 31 coupe about 18 months ago said I was done with old cars getting old 68+.
It guess I have a addiction problem thinking about another Model A either a phaeton or a PU.

Maybe you could just drop the voltage to 6v. I know the 60's mopars used a resistor or something like that to lower the gas gauge voltage to 5 or 6 volts

I also live in central NJ Hopefully exit 6 on the turnpike will be fixed by then I was in pa last weekend picking up another vehicle, out by harrisburg, not a model A and it was a mess traffic wise...

I use the air maze with replaceable filters and do not find it in my way. Not a show car just a driver.
