I use "Super Clean". Similar to Simple Green in uses. It is about $8 a gallon concentrate. Very good degreaser too.

Yes the greatest generation. My uncles brother was on a ship in Pearl that was bombed. He survived the entire war. My father-in-law was a carrier Hellcat pilot in the south Pacific theater. Shot down...

My 302 is a stock 1971 and I believe it is set at 10 degrees. It runs strong with no overheating or pinging issues.

When I got my car, it had a seep around the sending unit access hole. Mostly leaked only upon gas fill up. Hope this helps.

Thats a good price compared to here at $8.00 a quart but I think all our petroleum products are more here than the east side of the country esp gas.

Here it is $10.89 a gallon concentrated so 50-50 mix makes it $5.45 a gallon usable.

I dont believe it has a shelf life but you can always test it before you use to make sure.

My car is 12v. The heater motor is 6v and has worked fine now for 4 yrs. The wires and motor itself does not get hotter than normal. Might give it a try before you change it out.

I know what you mean. When I got my '50 the heater control valve was in the wrong hose so hot coolant was always in the heater core. Sheesh!!
