A friend of mine bought a top wood kit and a screw kit a long time ago.
And now he is trying to mount it.

There are a lot of quite big washers och some mixed "wood" screws that we can't figure...

In Sweden, we have the clutch pivot parts, on the left side ;-)
If I do anything I will put the gears in another housing.

Was just curious what it was used for from the beginning.

Well long story short.
I use my Chinese Mobile camera.
Save the pics to my PC.
Edit them with Picasa 3, Google stopped supporting it in 2016, but it works still

Yesterday I drove 400km to pick up a "new" rear axle för my 33.
And as it goes I got some more pieces ;-)
And i got this mysterious gearbox, He had a 34 that was Hot rodded so teh axle and gearbox...

I would try to remove the starter, its only two bolts and the negative wire.
Then you know if the starter is the problem.

Gear box stuck i two gears gives similar problems.

The ones for the 1200/1300 have a pin in one en, making it a bit hard to mount.
The one for 1302 have holes in both ends, one end have small hole though.

T" VW's have stabilizer with "big"...

8RT stands for 8BA Regular Truck, so it's the truck version of the 8BA passenger car engine. The ones i have seen have had hardened exhaust valveseats.

Chassis number is on the left frame in...

I would remove the manifold, and check for valve trouble.
If its not i guess you have to remove the head.

With this said my son had a SBC that started to knock (ping) So we retarded the ignition....

Made a similar solution back in 2004 on my 8RT engine.
Did not use a PCV valve, my reason for this was that Volvo B18/B20 Engines, had a line from the crankcase to the intake and the hole entering...
