I used the 31 bracket on my 29 ccpu easy install one additional hole no problem much stronger and no strain on tank.

The only concern withh a 14-16 ft trailer is the strap angles are very steep. It pulls down on with more force but less fore and aft pull. You also want 10 percent of the GVWR on the tongue. ...

I have both British cars and A's Lucas is fine... it boils down to clean grounds and good clean connections to battery etc. I have a owned a MGA for 20 years and not a single electrical failure...

NO not correct... you should have a min. of 7.2 volts at high idle to charge the battery. That still is only a average amp charge of 8 amps.

6.1 volts is min. for a 6 volt battery at rest.

Many folks may not know that a 12 volt system amp draw is half of a 6 volt. Since our wiring was gauged for 6 volts and twice the amperage you end up with a heavy duty wiring harness... For touring...

Says it replaces rear cross member.

Would that work on a 29 CCPU ?

We have a couple. One has been on a Slant since the mid 90's no problems.
Wired to main cut off switch circuit so on when you turn on switch and off... well ya know.
