I think the parts are there...I know the little pin is there and in right...Let me do more checking and thinking...does the shifter stay in there by itself?

Took out the shifter to get cab off, putting it back in, seems to be in the right place and shifts gears ok...but how does it stay in there?....I don't want to just pull it out by accident

I want to replace the pressure plate setup in my 1935 Ford pickup with a 1948 flathead in it. The actual plate measures 9 1/2 inches. I ordered a 9 inch plate...it's too small. What to order? ...

New shoes, '35 pickup, now the drums won't fit!

Yep, the drums won't go back on, the brake linings seem to stick out about 1/16th too much...anybody else had this problem? What is the solution?

Do the king pins in my 1935 Ford pickup need to be pressed out? I ca't budge them with heat and strong whacks with a hammer and punch.

And what replacement pins should I order? NOS? They won't...
