Re: Disc brakes on 1967 Mustang problem

I found a place in Texas that sells a kit that works on 14 inch wheels. They are either the Kelsey Hayes or Granada calipers and rotors. I'll give them a call soon.

Meanwhile, I am replacing the...

Re: 1932 Ford roadster size question.

In the 1930's and 40's, was the average height of males and females shorter by a couple of inches? I think there is a big difference getting in these vehicles if you're 5'10" compared to 6' or...

Re: Disc brakes on 1967 Mustang problem

Any ideas on where to buy a conversion kit that has the kelsey hayes 4 piston calipers and rotors? The Mustang vendors only sell kits for 15 in wheels.

Disc brakes on 1967 Mustang problem

I want to install front disc brakes on my 1967 Mustang.

The issue is I have 14x6 wheels. I do not believe the calipers will clear these wheels. Am I correct?

Is there any disc brake...

Re: What Gasoline that has NO ethanol in it?

Same here. It's worth it for me. When I hit the starter and the engine fires up instantly instead of cranking for minutes, you'll understand the difference. Ethanol is a politicians way of buying...

Re: What Gasoline that has NO ethanol in it?

I find gas with no ethanol in areas where there is a lake and boaters. Most folks use non-ethanol gas in their marine engines. I pay a little more for it but it has cut down on my fuel problems and...

Re: 1935 Tudor Springs

You're going to have that car in impeccable shape. If we lived close by I'd stop in and see the progress. I can imagine you have a nice shop space to accomplish your work.

Re: Adjusting Clock Speed

I leave mine on 24/7 so it loses time. The quartz movement would ensure the accuracy of the clock and sacrifice no external original look. You would only lose the sound of the contact tripping to...

Re: Hard to start.

A very well tuned and efficiently working ignition system is a must. All components of the ignition system need to function 100% to eliminate hard starts, from my experience. I run a traditional...

Re: Adjusting Clock Speed

G.M. is correct. It's not a quick process and the easiest solution might be to have it converted to a quartz movement.

Re: Wiring Dash and instrument cluster 1940

I agree with others. Remove the dash and do the pre-wiring first. Then remove the front seat so you can lay on your back and complete the final connections. I have done all the connections with the...
