The A-2470 Brake Equalizer Operating Shaft

Originally the A-2470 Brake Equalizer Operating Shaft and Bushing Assembly had two clevis type attachments...one for the brake pedal in about the middle of the part and one for the emergency brake...

You are going to have at least 1/2 quart (1 pint) left in the engine after changing the oil.

The engine capacity is 5 quarts. So on refilling, put in 4-1/2 quarts. That will get you to your 5...

I agree with the Standards...However I think they left one type of assembly out of the equation.

The one I have, I believe is a second generation as far as the Spindle Connecting Rod (tie rod)...

Mike,

There were no Closed Cab Pickups from January 1928 thru May 1928 or there abouts.

However the Closed Cab was offered on those early AA Trucks only and NOT with the Pickup Bed.
