i want to clean up the threads on my early 28 fuel shutoff valve.
I know these are a pipe thread.
Can anyone let me know the die sizes, I would need for the three threads on the shutoff.

I did mine using 3mm Marine Ply cut to various widths. I soak the strips in water so they are pliable and then push them into the desired pace. Next apply a Polyurethane Marine grade glue and slide...

Steve be careful that rivet that holds the handle is a stepped rivet. You should be able to get one from the suppliers over there. I had to make them for my car. I used a square shaft flat head...

You could try inserting sections of wood to replace the stuff that is aged. Then you could tack off to it.
