Rocky, the antenna cable is a shielded cable with the inner cable attaching to the chicken wire and the braided shielding cable being grounded to the chassis. Here are some images that might help.

Randy and Fred, There is a mistake that I made in Randys image. What I called a 3 window was actually a fordor channel. Here is the correct channel for either a 3 or 5 window coupe.
