Re: Temperature Gauge Leak

Unless I am missing something here (and I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer) it seems that the fancy gooseneck is the issue here. Has anyone tried this gauge in a drilled and tapped standard...

Re: painting a license plate questions

I hope someone can chime in and answer this question. I was told (not by an authority ) that in NY State you cannot paint or restore a plate and have it useful as a YOM for your car. It must be as...

Re: EOG's 1928 Model A Pickup

A really nice truck. The advice given is very good, I would add to change out the carb, the Tilly is not the best for this motor etc. Also look into engine pans and by all means check out the fan...

Re: Adding Guages

Ruth ' thanks for the reply but the line to the points goes through the ignition switch and it has to be broken and tied directly to the coil which is where I have my problem. This is the same as I...

Re: Adding Guages

Ruth' Can you show how you wired the coil after the ignition switch? I sketched this out and found that I would have to break into the ignition cable that goes to the distributor to do this. Not...

Re: The model a drag link/pitman arm

I also don't fall into the genius category but I am willing to take a guess If the ball were to the outside would the drag link hit the tire on a sharp left turn? Otherwise it must be a geometry...

Re: Engine Stand

I'd be more concerned about the three wheeled engine stand. I had one fall on me and nearly did a lot of damage to my leg. Only 4 wheeled versions now. Jack
