Look back in the old posts. I put a detail description and pictures of
duals we put on Skips 34 Pickup, same as a car chassis. Used a Optima
6 volt battery with a home made "box" that mounts...

As long as you have about 1 inch when you pull out at the top
that should be good. What you don't want is someone sitting in
the rumble pushing back and denting the lid. G.M.

Lubriplate was what was called for the Columbia speedo parts. G.M.

Did a google search and found Lubriplate is still available
in the same silver and black 14 oz can for $11.00

The points are NOT set with a feeler gauge. They are
on a Ford~Heyer strobe machine on a dwell meter. G.M.

I think if you change the polarity of the radio you are going to
have to iceolate the radio from ground. A guy named Charlie
from I believe Ohio made some kind of adaptor. G.M.

No they won't deteriorate on the shelf. The material used to
make coils years ago was not good to start with. They had coil
problems when the cars were new. Were OK in cold temps but
failed in hot...

When I used an electric pump I wired it to the accessory terminal on
the ignition switch. The small ball shaped ends on the triangle shaped
copper or brass contact plate won't carry much current...
