1962-63 f 100 ft whl cylinders

Cant find the original one piston wheel cylinders for a 1963 f100 front drum. Is there a solution by using 64 or later wheel cylinders? The brake shoes have slots for both piston arms.

problem identified. the cup on the end of the brake lever wore out and put the brake rod in a bind enough to override the brake spring tension. the owner before me did a complete brake job everything...

went to move the A and felt as if something was dragging. left front brake wont release after pedal is applied. I can rotate the brake arm with a wrench and get it to release. the left side releases...

cut open the pump, whatever is inside is encased in epoxy, no way to tell what failed. will buy a better brand pump.

Ive got a stock A motor with a B distributor. having a choice between a model A zenith carb and a model B carb for the same money will there be any noticeable improvement by going to the B? Thoughts?

h.l. got back to the car today. everything seems to be correct. nos points gapped .021, timing mark at 9 btdc puts number 1 dist pin in the middle of the rotor. car starts and runs timing light shows...

h.l. I got the b distributor in and running it is dead on 9 btdc. new problem is it wont advance. turning the rotor ccwise it feels really sticky but does return slowly. I think it should turn freely...
