There are three different length radiator rods for 35

Early large tank radiator 48-8133 is 28 1/2"
The small tank radiator 48-8133-AR is 32 3/4"
Late small tank radiator 48-8133-B is 31 3/4"

What is embossed on the fill plug?

If you want the steering box to not leak have a modern seal installed in the sector housing and solder the tube that is in the steering shaft for the horn rod.

Ford did not offer fog lights as an accessory in 35
The 35 gas cap was non-vented and shown below. They are not made by Eaton and most do not have Ford Script or any identification as to Mfg.

1940 frame patch pieces

Anyone have the contact information for the company now making 1940 Ford frame patch pieces. Precision Coachworks near Boston used to make pieces but I believe the owner Dave Maher passed away.

With modern modifications (bullet proofing) the Columbia is about as tough as the original Ford rear axle, which is very strong. There are a few out there with over 50,000 Miles and still going.
