Robert, You may have a 28 frame. I would check the number on the frame and see if it matches the title number. I know it is a lot of work but it may resolve your problem. Just my thoughts. Good luck,...

You guys might not be looking at this properly. That maybe a 28-29 chase with a 30 body set on it. The dogs probable know but are not talking.

This type of replacement will not work on 1928 cars. Some of the suppliers say they will but they will not. Only work on 29 to 31 drum type. Just my personal experience.

Model A Trailer

Trailer has a Model A front axial under it, approx 4x8
$450 or will trade for parts. I have pictures if you email me.It will be up on the MAFCA site with a picture

I did my trany, put in sealed bearings front and back, shaft seals and the one in the bell housing. NO LEAKS

I Don't take Pay Pal, They let people use stolen cc numbers to pay for stuff and the seller is out the money after they ship the goods and when the person that had his cc number ripped off discovers...

That is what I did with my car. I pulled the motor and put another one in while I rebuilt the old one. I was still able to drive the car while I work on it.

I would sagest that you look for another trans at a swap meet. I have purchased some pretty good ones for good prices and then you have something to start a rebuild.

I did see some A's up this way and my neighbor and I drove up to sparks today to look at the cars and check out the swap meet. Had a good time. There was a motorcycle there...
