Ma wants a rumble seat to take the grandkids in a parade. Does this panel need to be removed? (see photo and arrow, arrow is kinda faint)

I have a bare block mounted in my chassis to check fits, A "B" engine in a 29A.

Update:

All body parts returned from blasting and etch primer coating. All in all, the body work will be minimal. The body work is next, after the chassis is finished.

I'm at the stage of restoration where I need to disassemble, clean, paint and fix the steering column. I don't have a good set of instructions to help me separate the steering wheel from the column...

looks the same as yours. before starting the renovation. Got some bad news from the machine shop, cracks in the block everywhere, and some of the metalock pin ares of a previous repair have cracks...

thought ya'll might like to see one going back together. It will end up as a driver, as it had a B engine in it and hyd brakes (half finished) when I bought it.

We are at the rolling chassis phase...

I see a row of 1/4 inch bolts that attach the cowl to the A pillar. It looks like there are 3 or four small rivets that hold the cowl to the rocker area of the A pillar. I'm guessing they need to be...
