Hmmmmm....Been there and all over but I see no "log in box".

I wonder if it is because I am already "loged-in" on THIS computer system so might have to wait til I get to one for which I am not...

Both my 1929 cars have about two to three threads showing on each perch below the nut.

Most perch's have the part number on the perch...not quite sure just how to tell an aftermarket or repop...

Are the Front Spring Perch Assembly's original? There were two types I think according to the JS's.

Are you mating up the correct "perch" with the correct...

Fred,

Try an "in-line filter" for a while. This will require an new fuel filter to carb gas line with the in-line filter situated somewhere in the middle of the line and maybe in time will solve...

It is not challenging at all. First drain what you can from the oil pan then jack the car up and put on some good car stands (preferabley those that you can drive up on with blocks on the back tires...

Why????????????????...Had a bad experience with 28-29 wheels once BUT that was with wheels with a curved outer and inner rim (with air space) which collected the acid and which was not all removed...

I do not recall any type of gasket material that was placed between the gutter assembly and the flange on the body for which it is bolted to. There is no mention of any in the Body Parts lists...

Not really...just follow the MARC or MAFCA rules in starting up a club and go for it...things will fall into place in time...if something is not working, then go to plan B.

Did you install the right size light rod?...I think there were 4-5 different lengths.

I had enough long peices to do a set for my coupe but the end peices were shot.

So I utilized a few of the broken, long outside strips and took them to a metal fabricator. Here they flatened...
