I had a similar situation with one of my zeniths. I ended up putting the lower half in a vice and filling the bowl with gas. Low and behold it was leaking out of the threads of the jet in the air...

So I guess they cut the spokes and weld them to the rim? Has to be touchy getting all of them accurately spaced and centered unless you made a jig for them.

What kind of wheels are on Jerry Egglestons roadster that was the A of the day? The centers look like stock 31 but the rims look like 16 inch. Never seen that before. Thanks, Marc

Zenith secondary well
How far do you screw in the secondary well on a Zenith carb.? So it is flush with the casting? The threads on the carb I am working on will allow it to thread in deeper. Thanks, Marc
