Re: Scary ... What the hell happened ?

Couple posters here have mentioned replacing the rubber ball on radius rod and going back to the steel on steel. It would be easy but don't you have to replace the two bolts also? This means you have...

Re: Small Parts Spray Paint

I have been using VHT epoxy black, comes in semi-gloss and gloss. It requires no primer as it is supposed to be self priming.I get it at Advance Auto or AutoZone.

Re: Locating dimple on timing gear

Except in the case of a timing that was on my Model A engine, the dimple was drilled off a tooth. Not a new one but not the original one either. It had a metal hub that was loose and I went to replace...

Two Model A questions.

Two things about the Model A Ford I would like to ask. Being involved in quite a few 1936-1948 V8 Fords over the years, the last 48 actually,I don't understand why some if not most think the original...

Re: sediment bowl filter issue

I like the ones Snyders sells better than the Bratton ones with a coil spring that has to be centered.Snyders installs easier and more reassuring.

Re: Varco Model A luggage rack on Ebay

It sold quick but they are still made available at Varco and now powder coated.I just think the wood slat ones look better but I just wanted to know if this was a correct one.

Varco Model A luggage rack on Ebay

There is a NOS Varco luggage rack on Ebay. Is this more what the original ones looked like in 1929 or so? No wood slats, says it was a 1980's repro item.

Re: Can't even complete a simple job like a step plate.

That is where I am trying to place the one I bought from Brattons and again the bumper arm is wider than the two drilled holes will allow the bolts to clear the width of the arm. .In other words the...

I don't think I have ever seen one bad or negative comment on Berg radiators since last fall when I started checking them out and bought one from Gary Bergbower.

Re: Can't even complete a simple job like a step plate.

Round the step pads are fine but the clamp post on bumper bracket will not fit .Bracket is too wide for the two bolts to fit even after I elongated the holes in clamp.I will look for an original or...
