I would say the tires have flat spots on them from sitting around a lot, or out of balance.
Just my thoughts.

Head Light Problem
I have a 6 volt alternator with halogen headlights, while the engine is idling the lights are dim.
When I rev the engine the lights are bright. What do I need to do to fix this problem?

Spotted Upholstery
I have two stains on the front bottom seat of the 31 S/W I just bought. Has anyone used the colored fabric spray to cover a spot? If anyone has a suggestion please let me know.

I just bought a nice 31 S/W with four speed transmission with cable.

Bill, It could also be the wire that runs from the ignition switch to the distributor, where the insulation has worn of and touching the metal cable, that happened to me.
