Re: Manifold Gland Rings

New exhaust manifold..use the rings. Old manifold..maybe not. Particularly if it has been milled, etc. The engine block side will be deep enough, old manifold, maybe not.

Re: Should I pass on this A? Or would I miss out on something?

I donno if you can get a "good" Tudor for $8,000. If the car has truly been gone over and is a solid and safe "driver" with good engine, correct paint...well then ....also a good set of working set...

Re: Happy 90 years old 6/18/29 firewall cars.

Yeah, some folks just dont know...not aware or even worldly, out side of their own little world of limited experience, knowledge, and education, or lack thereof.

Re: Photo of 1931 4-Door With Blackwall Tires

Re: 32 4cyl. Exhaust Gasket leak running rough

Well first thing I'd check is make sure you have good fuel flow from the tank, through the pump, etc. I'm thinking the pump could be bad, needing a rebuild. Could be a big vaccum leak on the intake...

Re: Oil on Spark Plug

No oil passages in the head or on top of the block. Likely (IF) you have a problem it's going to be a ring problem or possibly worn/loose intake valve guide IMO. Do like others have said and just run...
