Re: edlebrock 4 barrel manifold broken bolt

That view is of the passenger side and please double check me. My advancing age and dyslexia can confuse me. The top view photo shoes the side with the broken bolt is the passenger side. I never...

Re: 8BA fuel pump pushrod diameter

I didn't think the looseness would be a problem but we all know about "ASSUMING". The pushrod diameters measure about .430 and 7/16 is .4375. The defection back and forth is over .060 at the top of...

Re: Shout out to Kube and 35fordtn

Don't forget, the thrill of the chase is half the fun. I love going to swap meets. But when the vehicle is done and I don't need anything, walking around the meet just isn't the same. I now have a...

Re: Where does your 53 Ford run?

JSeery, I did mention in my post that the sending unit is after market. (Per the vendor, American made but cheaper than NOS). My message was intended that a calibration of existing sending units,...

Re: valid Temp Sending unit test?

I do remember reading that repair thread. If the sender I have is an original, I can try that. but not sure my skills at taking it apart and resealing are good enough. Is it an original type?

Re: valid Temp Sending unit test?

One idea is that the sender I have is not a Ford King Seely sender or a replacement. I don't care about super accuracy. How do the replacement, resistance type senders work with the original gauge in...
