I believe that all CC pickups had single piece splash aprons and had only a spare on the left side as the right side was left for carrying a ladder.

The brackets appear to be part of rear bumper braces. the bracket that bolts to the rear bumper irons and the end of the bumperette.

28-29 plates are side interchangable. 30-31 plates are side specific. Hope this helps

usually pits like that indicate a crack somewhere in that cylinder. You can install new valve seats to solve the pitting, however I would magnaflux the block to see if there is a crack in that...

I use a product called Gasoila. It is a paste and used in the petroleum industry. It works very well and I have never had a leak using it. Just google gasoila.

I had the same problem, and it was the diaphragm pump. I went back to the vane pump and my problems went away. Both were Carter pumps sold by NAPA.

The pilot bearing is a press fit to the flywheel, but not a press fit to the input shaft of the transmission. If it was you would not be able to install the transmission.

Do you mean "cutting the drums"? I see no reason to cut the hubs. sometimes cast iron drums can get quite hard if they are overheated.

The original stanchions were stainless. The cups were steel. Liners were stainless and spot welded in a few places to keep them in.
