Does it go to full open with the hand lever? If not the arm at the firewall may be bent. Mine was off after a carb change, I bent the arm cold with a 6in adjustable wrench using the handle hole!

Driver side, the recessed screw, insulating washer is inside the dizzy.

I looked at a new owners pu and he had oil on the firewall, steering column, etc, what a mess. I asked him for permission to install the dip stick properly he said yes and thanked me.

Don't use the fan blade to turn the engine! Use a hand crank, if you go to far crank the engine with the hand crank, don't back the engine with the fan blade, oringnal, new, or plastic Period!

I added a strip of stainless steel under the copper strip to help spring back to the normal position. An original switch is much better than the repop switches!
