According to Ford Geelong sales book the correct name for Slopers was "Coupe Sedan"
There were only 1763 units made for the 1939 and 1940 style.

There is a body number stamped on the firewall...

There were 420 Phaetons made in 1933 ... 246 were Standard and 174 were Deluxe .... can not indicate V8's as to 4 cylinder ...

According to Ford Geelong archives there were 792 Phaetons ... production commenced in August 1932 and ceased in September 1933 ... there were 445 Phaetons and 347 Phaeton Sports..

In 1981, I commenced a Model 40 Register for Australian made 1933-34 Ford Phaetons, to date there are 86 on register, regardless original, restored, hot rod or basket case, each has a cowl number...

The rumble lid on a 34 Coupe is spring loaded and opened by the handle inside the cab below the rear window. There were only 1311 Model 40 Coupes made, going by the Body number this Coupe was made...

the 34 Roadster is looking good, its not as easy as everyone thinks changing an Aussie body back into the American style.. been there done that.
