29 roadster quarters

I'm assembling a 28 roadster. How do the quarters mount to the subframe at the door openings?

Are there braces there? I'm not sure if I'm missing anything or what stiffens the quarter at that...

Re: looking for a source of Tacoma cream paint

I just painted my rims. I had a hard time finding paint. Mix up my recipe and see how it fairs. It looks great on my wheels and it matched the color of my rims extremely close.
I'm not 100...

Re: Anyone want to help a roadster fan?

I'm going to,use original steel as spatters, so the proportions would be the same.

I suppose interior space could be an issue, now that I think,of it. I've read anyone over 6' tall has space...

Re: Anyone want to help a roadster fan?

Coupster is a good idea, but I'd like to,be as original style-wise as I can. Besides, a Coupster has no roof. I'm in Canada where a roof is sometimes a must.

How much smaller is the interior? I...

I'm taking on an ambitious project. I've decided to build a 28 roadster with my 28 sport coupe as a working model.

I shelled out cash on rusted out quarter panels as a template to fabricate new...

Accelerator Linkage Confusion

When I got my accelerator linkage it had a broken spring. I've got a new spring but can't figure out how this thing goes together.

Which way does the linkage arm go?

When I line up the holes...

Re: except cash for a car or trust a check

As someone who investigates frauds everyday, I can tell you that Cherque kiting is very easy to do. A bank may legitimize a check as being valid, but the chain of accounts it's written on may not...

Re: Metal coupe or wooden wagon?

The coupe body was completely disassembled by myself when I got it. Someone tried a very unsuccessful attempt at making a subframe out of bar stock.

Basically the body was ready for the scrapper....

Re: Metal coupe or wooden wagon?

I think I'm going to go the huckster route.

I wonder how much extra weight it is compared to a standard body?

I've reached out to wagon works for plans, but being in Canada I've got to make...

Metal coupe or wooden wagon?

Hi All,

I'm at a point in my project where I can go two different directions.
I have a 28 sport coupe in need of lots of metal work. I can do it, and had every intention to until two weeks ago....

Re: Model A Huckster Group

Is there any way to modify a coupe firewall to make a huckster from it?

I can't figure out the difference where the wood attaches to the firewall.

Which metal gauge do you use?

I'm in the process of stripping and repairing my cowl and doors on my 28 sport coupe. She needs lots of love.

My subframe repair was done using 16 ga, which was a real pain to work with. When it...

28 coupe rear fender brace?

My 28 sport coupe was completely apart when I got it.
I've noticed rear fender braces/supports for sale at macs.

I didn't realize there were rear fender braces. We're these original, or a good...

Re: New member, hopefully not an old question

Wow, I don't think I would have figured out to fold it over like a door skin at the bottom.

The only thing I'm unclear about is the brackets I need. I know there's a triangular one at the back by...
