If both wheels are off the ground that is normal.If one is on the ground you won’t be able to turn the other one more then a few inches.

That is annoying to me also driving my 30 Tudor.Also would like to hear of a easy solution besides not braking..No spring or friction device was originally used as far as I know.

I measured a pinion gear I have and it measures 1.575”. The shoulder wear the bearing seats measures 1.870”. Hope this helps . Dennis

The seal is held in place along the bottom edge of the door trim panel by the bottom door clips.It is sandwiched between the panel and door frame with the lip facing inward.
