40 rims and radials?

I have original '40' rims the ones that have 3 rivets on each section [4] that hold the inner to outer band, are they ok to run [tubeless] radial tyres on, they dont leak through those rivets at all?

I cruise on 65mph here in Western Australia we have good freeways [but bad drivers] I pass people easy... 3.78 rear with 7.50 x 16 tyres.

Soak the uni in trans oil, when assembling that area you only need about a half a cup of semi fluid grease as well, its not that big an area. Remember its getting a small amount of oil migrating from...

That area [clam] should be getting a small amount oil from the trans, no need to go overboard with grease the area is not that big, use a semi fluid grease.

Yes its the back n forth of the armature. As you can see by the pic , the finest of Chinese has given up after years. All I can do is see a mate with heaps of parts and I acquired an armature [6V]...

Just assemble the tower and try them for feel . The smaller balls will have heavier springs and they "click" when going in and out of gear. I use them , well a combination I made up. They wont hold...
